Groceries 2 You

With arkDigital, I was tasked with designing a new identity for the delivery service, groceries2you. All one word. All lowercase. Keep the 2.

As always we start with the main identity that weaves its way through to the rest of the brand. After a considerable amount of research, we found that the most common logo was a flower icon. In order to stand out from this we chose the van icon. The story that inspired the icon was found in Pakistani culture in Britain. Dotted across areas in Britain with a prominent Pakistani community, large lorries and vans full of fresh fruit and veg will be parked up in the neighbourhood to supply the locals with their produce. Taking something familiar, we chose to implement this in the identity.

With the colour chosen, I wanted the identity to be loud and proud, and have everyone know it was coming. This meant to cover the vehicles in green and have the lettering spread across them. Multiple stickers were created for the client to use wherever required, featuring the icon and full lockup. Complimentary slips were created for the customers as it gave a personal touch to ensure the customers felt valued.

For the marketing campaign, we opted for a straightforward approach to replicate that of the brand name. the aim was to have the photography capture the negatives of in-store grocery shopping, to then have the words appear and have the audience focus on the positive aspect to using the service.
