Hello, I’m Hamza
-
I’m a Brand Identity Designer and Illustrator, based in Yorkshire. I love a story. My craft aims to tell the story of others and their endeavours through a fresh face and communication.
I have a desire to make people think beyond aesthetics. A project has to be broken apart to build final solutions. In doing this, you realise that every brand has different qualities and aspirations. It’s for this reason that there is no fixed house style. However, there are key ingredients to help me achieve my goals with clients.
What’s the goal?
To make lasting impressions which are memorable, but also communicate the brands story to their audience. Start with a solid platform, and keep things interesting to grow and develop.
-
The mission is to give brands a solid platform and inspire creativity to help their future growth and development. Keep things interesting. The motivation behind this is to help a brand tell their story.
-
The long term vision is the encouragement of brands to embrace the creation of their identity. This is more than a logo. A culmination of all a brands aspects are required to effectively communicate themselves to their chosen audience.
Regardless of a company’s size, all should have their brand design created at the highest quality to maximise success at what it is they are aiming to achieve. Essentially, this vision is to allow small businesses to have the same brand quality as larger corporations. To be disruptive.

The single thread that is stitched throughout the entirity of my brand is that of a personal committment to quality.
Starting with Product, the process of reaching a high quality print requires a significant number of steps to be followed before it is ready to be mailed off to a customer. These steps include careful consideration with regards to the pen used, the colours chosen and the paper both drawn and printed on. For more detail, see the Process tab.
Moving onto Service, my philosophy here is encapsulated in one statement. An encouragement of collaboration. This is a personal recognition that everyone has something of offer in the design process. Non-creatives and designers alike.
As a creative partner, my values entail that the work created is of high quality, regardless of the budget.

Everything always starts with the push of a pen. For my artwork, I use the same brush pen in order to achieve a consistent, signature style that is found throughout my work.
The next step is the colouring process. Again, for consistency, there are 5 colours for my prints which is the secondary palette for my brand. These colours have been checked and form a striking cohesion when placed together, bringing out each others hue.
Finally, the paper for printing was selected due to its resembelance to the washi paper used in the initial physical inking stage. It was also chosen as it flattens off the digital sheen produced, to result in a matte finish. This perfectly replicates the original print, and offers a luxurious, soft-to-touch print created for customers.
